The idea: Responsibility should match what each person can actually control.
Stylists
- Care for clients and agree on realistic results.
- Do safe, thoughtful work and use products responsibly.
- Record services accurately and raise problems early.
- Support colleagues and keep developing your craft.
Management
- Explain the numbers and decisions; provide training and workable tools.
- Set prices and rosters, generate demand and keep stock available.
- Protect private information, reconcile accounts and fix system problems.
Your own reputation
Building your professional reputation is welcome. Use client images only with consent and follow the salon's agreed booking and information boundaries. Social-media promotion is not a hidden duty.
A stylist should not be blamed for a price, stock or system decision they could not control. Responsibility must come with information, authority and support.
